The Spring Bay Wind Farm (also known as the Providence Bay Expansion Project) is an advanced stage development project that represents the expansion phase of the existing Providence Bay Wind Farm. Schneider Power was awarded one Advanced RESOP contract with a 20-year term in 2009 by the OPA for a total of 6.5 MW for the Providence Bay Expansion Project.

The Wind Farm and the Providence Bay Expansion Project have good access to transmission, roads, and shipping facilities and has attained all relevant permits.

The Company anticipates to commence with pre-construction work in the second half of 2009, enabling the start of a 6 month construction period in mid 2010. 

The Spring Bay Wind Farm is owned and operated by Spring Bay Wind Farm Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Schneider Power Inc.
