The Hilltop Heights Wind Farm Project is situated near Erickson, Manitoba, approximately 50 km south of the Riding Mountain Provincial Park. The Schneider Power Management Team believes this project has a potential wind power capacity of up to 345 MW, but intends to develop only 120 MW in the CRCE Turbine Phase.

Environmental, wind resource and engineering studies respecting this project have been commenced, including an environmental impact study and most of the required municipal, transport Canada and NAV Canada approvals have been obtained. The interconnection of the Hilltop Heights Wind Farm Project to the transmission grid is dependent on the construction of a 2 km feeder line to the existing transmission line. Schneider Power has made an application with Manitoba Hydro for a connection study for the CRCE Turbine phase of up to 120 MW of capacity and is anticipating the results of the study to be completed by late 2008.

The Hilltop Heights Wind Farm Project is situated on privately owned land on which Schneider Power has a 30-year easement agreement with one Met Mast currently installed.
