Schneider Power is currently developing a low-impact wind farm to be located on agricultural land near the town of Fairmont, Manitoba.

The total area of the wind farm is approximately 15,000 acres and the plan sees for the construction of  170 wind turbines with a unit generating capacity of each turbine in the range of 2.0 MW. The total generation capacity will be in the range of 345 MW.
